BIOGO-S is a single-component, reaction-type moisture-curing polymer waterproof coating made by addition polymerization using isocyanate and polyether polyol as the principal raw materials, together with selected additives and fillers. After application to the prepared waterproofing substrate, the terminal -NCO groups in the polyurethane prepolymer react with moisture in the air to form a tough, flexible and seamless rubber-like waterproof membrane over the substrate surface.

Specify the complete system

State the substrate, required dry-film thickness, area in m², selected performance grade and protective finish. The published application range for BIOGO-S is 5–35°C; confirm substrate conditions and the application method before working in hot weather. For a permanently exposed roof, review the BIOGO-ES UV-resistant polyurethane system instead of assuming all PU coatings can remain exposed.

For budgeting, the listed consumption is approximately 1.6–1.7 kg/m² at 1.0 mm. Actual quantities depend on the specified thickness, substrate and application losses. Request the current TDS and SDS for the exact grade before approval.

PU waterproof coating: buyer questions

Is a PU waterproof coat the same as polyurethane waterproof coating?

PU is short for polyurethane. For a quotation, specify a waterproofing membrane coating and its exposure conditions, rather than a decorative polyurethane paint.

Can BIOGO-S be left exposed to the sun?

BIOGO-S is listed for non-exposed applications. Confirm the protective layer or select an exposed-grade product with the technical team.

How is the order quantity estimated?

Use area × specified dry-film thickness × the consumption for the selected grade, then allow for substrate and application losses. Confirm the build-up and pack quantity before ordering.

When should I compare HDPE with a coating?

For waterproofing installed before concrete is poured, compare a pre-applied HDPE self-adhesive membrane. The installation sequence and detailing differ from liquid-applied coatings.
